I am back with another recipe having nutella .Sunday morning’s  breakfast was wheat flour & oats crepes, my daughter not being too fond of oats was cajoled in to eating it with a promise of nutella in the batter.I remembered seeing nutella crepes with plain flour in Green Girl’s Blog and the memory served me good as the dash of the hazelnut & choco spread worked like a charm and these thin pancakes disappeared very quickly.

What goes:-

  • Whole Wheat Flour – 1/2 cup
  • Quick Cooking Oats – 1/2 cup
  • Egg -1
  • Nutella – 2 heaped spoons – to taste
  • Milk – 1 1/2 cup or as required
  • Salt – a pinch or two
  • Butter – a dash (optional)

Here’s How:-

Pulse the oats in a mixer for a few seconds.  Whisk the egg well. In a mixing bowl add the oats and the wheat flour along with the milk and  the egg. Sprinkle little salt and add the dash of nutella.Mix well, add more milk if required.

The batter should be of pouring consistency.

Heat a non-stick pan and grease it with a dash of butter. Pour a ladle full of the batter and spread it evenly by tilting the pan or by using a spatula. Cook till the crepes are set and flip it over.

Let it cook for a few seconds. Take it off flame & serve hot.
Enjoy it with fresh fruits, whipped cream or any other accompaniment of your choice.
