They taste yum and the lengthy preparation is worth every bite….
Now a look at the ingredients:-
For the dough—–
- Refined Flour/Maida
- Salt (as per taste)
- Oil/Ghee (2-3 tsp)
- Some Oil in Wok for frying
- Bengal Gram (Kadala paruppu)
- Green Chillis
- Mustard, Urad Dal,oil ( for Seasoning)
- Coriander leaves
Knead the flour with salt, oil and required water to make a fine dough. Set it aside.
Soak the Bengal Gram for some time.
Flatten a small ball of the dough with the rolling pin, and place little filling on it. Close the sides and make it in to a pouch/ball again. Now flatten this pouch again dusting it with little flour to avoid stickiness
